Goaldi Mosque is one of the very few surviving medieval monuments in the city of Sonargaon. Built-in 1519, the graceful, single-domed Goaldi Mosque is the most impressive of the few extant monuments of the old capital city and a good example of pre-Mughal architecture.
The Folk Art Museum
Folk Art Museum or Folk Art and Crafts Museum is located on a picturesque fifty-hectare piece of land that consists of breathtaking landscapes, peaceful artificial lakes, ponds and of course the structures that make up the Folk Art Museum complex (Wednesday & Thursday is closed).
Here guests can take a lunch break. Food is not included in this tour.
Panam Nagar is a unique township, stretched in a single street 5 meters wide on average and 600 meters in length. All the buildings have the character of urban street front houses and are lined up on either side of this street which ends up at the Panam Bazar. Fifty-two houses exist in dilapidated and disused conditions having 31 on the north side of the street and 21 on the south.
